Nora is passionate about educational equity. She began her career in 2018 as a Teach for America corps member in Birmingham, Alabama where she taught Spanish for 3 years at Huffman High School and 1 year at Magic City Acceptance Academy. In 2022, Nora transitioned out of the classroom to be the Alumni Engagement Manager for Teach for America before joining Small Magic as a Family Engagement Manager in 2023. Nora has been involved with the Spanish-speaking community since moving to Birmingham and currently serves on the junior board for HICA.
