We are writing the future of Birmingham, together. Join us for Storytime, Small Magic’s annual event that celebrates the power of words and the strength of our community. Enjoy a night of live performances, inspiration, and delightful surprises. Every dollar raised will support early literacy for children across Birmingham.

At our inaugural 2023 Storytime, guests enjoyed an evening of captivating live performances by renowned artists, including Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Archibald, Grammy-nominated duo The Secret Sisters, award-winning author Randi Pink, pop culture commentator Jamie B.Golden, and award-winning poet Salaam Green. Our friends at Thank You Books added a touch of nostalgia to the event with a “book fair for grown-ups,” where guests were invited to revisit the enchantment of school book fairs and explore a thoughtfully curated collection of delightful reads.
