Deeply committed to social justice, Kierra has dedicated her work to understanding the systems that affect people’s lives and creating spaces of equity and belonging. After earning her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she began her career as a Program Specialist for Meals on Wheels where she worked to connect older adults with vital resources and care. From there, she transitioned to Amplify as a K-5 tutor to help close reading gaps and give students a stronger foundation for learning. In 2025, she joined the Small Magic team as a Family Engagement Manager where she works with families to build supportive, nurturing environments so every child can thrive and grow toward future success.
