Kari Herring is a coach and educator devoted to early childhood literacy. She received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Alabama. As an undergraduate student, Kari worked as a preschool teacher for 4 years. After graduating, she joined Teach for America as a corps member and taught secondary history for three years in Birmingham City Schools before transitioning into a technology integration coaching role. She joined the team at Small Magic as an Early Learning Coach in 2023. Kari believes the best way to make positive change for students is through supporting their strongest advocates- their teachers.
