Caroline Barnett

Caroline is deeply committed to education accessibility and child advocacy. While earning her B.A. in Political Science and Social Work from Auburn University, she gained experience in the social work field, including direct service with agencies like the Auburn Housing Authority. Her work revealed that many of the barriers children and parents face stem from lack of education accessibility. Driven by this insight, Caroline joined A+ Education Partnership as a fellow in 2020, where she coordinated the A+ Student Voices Team, a state-wide student advocacy program dedicated to uplifting students’ perspectives. In 2023, she joined the A+ team as the Communications & Strategic Initiatives Manager where she further supported advocacy communications. Caroline transitioned to the Small Magic team in 2024 as the Development & Communications Manager, where she aims to amplify the importance of supporting Birmingham’s earliest learners.
